Remove the upper belt moulding screw at front of the door.
Torque:
12 lb.in (1.3 Nm)
Lift the moulding at the front edge using a non-marring
trim tool and slide forward to disengage from the tab at the rear and
remove the moulding...
To disconnect or remove the battery, do the
following:
Apply the parking brake and switch the
ignition off.
Switch all electrical equipment off, for
example lights and radio.
Wait a minimum of two minutes before
disconnecting the battery.Note: The engine management system has
a power hold function and remains powered
for a period of time after you switch the
ignition off...
