Removal
-
With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
Refer to: Jacking and Lifting (100-02 Jacking and Lifting, Description and Operation).

Remove the transfer case.
Refer to: Transfer Case (307-07B Transfer Case, Removal).

Remove the transfer case output shaft seal cover.
-
Remove and discard the transfer case output shaft seal.
Installation
-
NOTE:
Apply petroleum jelly to the outer circumference of the oil seal.
Use Special Service Tool: 205-1067
Installer, Output Shaft AWD.

Installation Tube.

Install the transfer case.
Refer to: Transfer Case (307-07B Transfer Case, Installation).
Activation
Refer to: Health and Safety Precautions (100-00 General Information, Description and Operation).

turns off, the door remains open and
unlatched and does not close.
If your vehicle has no power and the backup
power system is turned off, you can close
and secure your vehicle by manually
resetting each door latch using a key in the
position shown.
