Overview

Driver Power Seat

The driver power seat is available with a 10, 12 or 30-way power adjustable memory seat.

The driver power seat is controlled by the DSM located on the driver seat track. PMI is required when a new DSM is installed. The DSM hard stop/soft stops must be set/reset any time a new DSM, driver seat track, horizontal motor, driver seat backrest, cushion extension assembly (30-way only) or headrest assembly (30-way only) is installed.

The memory system allows automatic positioning of the driver seat to 1 of 3 programmable positions. For information on programming memory positions or recalling a stored memory position, refer to the Owner's Literature.

The 10-way driver memory seat is equipped with the following:

  • Front height motor (serviced with front seat track)
  • Rear height motor (serviced with front seat track)
  • Horizontal motor (serviced with front seat track)
  • Recliner motor (serviced with front seat backrest)
  • Lumbar motor (serviced with power lumbar assembly)

The 12-way driver memory seat is equipped with the following:

  • Front height motor (serviced with front seat track)
  • Rear height motor (serviced with front seat track)
  • Horizontal motor (serviced with front seat track)
  • Recliner motor (serviced with front seat backrest)
  • 4-way lumbar air pump motor (serviced with power lumbar assembly)

The 30-way driver memory seat is equipped with the following:

  • Front height motor (serviced with front seat track)
  • Rear height motor (serviced with front seat track)
  • Horizontal motor (serviced with front seat track)
  • Recliner motor (serviced with front seat backrest)
  • LH and RH seat cushion extension motors (serviced as an assembly)
  • Upper backrest pivot motor (serviced with front seat backrest)
  • Front head restraint motor (up/down) (serviced with front head restraint)
  • Seat head restraint forward/rearward motor (serviced with front head restraint)
  • Multi-contour seat feature

Passenger Power Seat

The passenger power seat is available with a 10, 12 or 30-way power adjustable seat.

The passenger seat is controlled by the SCMB located on the passenger seat track. PMI is required when a new SCMB is installed.

The 10-way passenger power seat is equipped with the following:

  • Front height motor (serviced with front seat track)
  • Rear height motor (serviced with front seat track)
  • Horizontal motor (serviced with front seat track)
  • Recliner motor (serviced with front seat backrest)
  • Lumbar motor (serviced with power lumbar assembly)

The 12-way passenger power seat is equipped with the following:

  • Front height motor (serviced with front seat track)
  • Rear height motor (serviced with front seat track)
  • Horizontal motor (serviced with front seat track)
  • Recliner motor (serviced with front seat backrest)
  • 4-way lumbar air pump motor (serviced with power lumbar assembly)

The 30-way passenger power seat is equipped with the following:

  • Front height motor (serviced with front seat track)
  • Rear height motor (serviced with front seat track)
  • Horizontal motor (serviced with front seat track)
  • Recliner motor (serviced with front seat backrest)
  • LH and RH seat cushion extension motors (serviced as an assembly)
  • Upper backrest pivot motor (serviced with front seat backrest)
  • Front head restraint motor (up/down) (serviced with front head restraint)
  • Seat head restraint forward/rearward motor (serviced with front head restraint)
  • Multi-contour seat feature

Multi-Contour Seat Feature

This system allows on demand independent lumbar adjustment and/or massage of each front seat. PMI is required when a new SCMG or SCMH is installed.

The multi-contour front seat system consists of the following components:

  • SCMG, attached to the backrest of the front driver seat
  • SCMH, attached to the backrest of the front passenger seat
  • FDIM (includes multi-contour seat buttons)
  • Front seat cushion adjuster, attached to each front seat frame (includes 6 inflatable air bladders and hoses)
  • Front seat power lumbar assembly, attached to each front seat backrest (includes air pump, 5 inflatable air bladders and hoses)

Heated Seats

This system allows on-demand, independent, electrical heating of each front seat.

The heated seat system consists of the following components:

  • Seat cushion heater mat
  • Seat backrest heater mat
  • FCIMB (includes heated seat buttons)
  • HVAC module

Heated/Ventilated Seats

This system allows on-demand, independent, electrical heating/venting of each front seat.

The heated/ventilated seat system consists of the following components:

  • Seat cushion heater mat
  • Seat backrest heater mat
  • Blower motor, located within each front seat cushion and backrest
  • FDIM (includes heated/ventilated seat buttons)
  • FCIMB (includes heated/ventilated seat buttons)
  • SCME, integral to the DSM
  • Cushion and backrest vent bags (part of the cushion and backrest foam)
  • Cushion and backrest foam
  • Cushion and backrest trim covers
