Lincoln Aviator: Roof Opening Panel / Removal and Installation - Roof Opening Panel Fixed Glass

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

  1. Place the roof opening panel shield to the fully OPEN position.
  1. On both sides.
    Detach part of the roof opening panel seal from the roof opening panel frame as necessary.
  1. On both sides.
    Remove the roof opening panel fixed glass screws.
    Torque: 53 lb.in (6 Nm)
  1. NOTE: The roof opening panel fixed glass frame is extended under the front sliding glass panel.

    With the help of an assistant.
    Remove the roof opening panel fixed glass.
    1. Lift the rear of the roof opening panel fixed glass.
    1. Remove the roof opening panel fixed glass.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  1. Align the roof opening panel fixed glass.
