Lincoln Aviator: Accessory Drive - 3.0L EcoBoost / Removal and Installation - Accessory Drive Belt Tensioner

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
    Refer to: Jacking and Lifting (100-02 Jacking and Lifting, Description and Operation).
  1. Remove the accessory drive belt.
    Refer to: Accessory Drive Belt (303-05A Accessory Drive - 3.0L EcoBoost, Removal and Installation).
  1. Remove the bolts and the accessory drive belt tensioner.
    Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  1. After installation, make sure the accessory drive belt is correctly seated on all pulleys.
